A few months after Pfizer was forced to stop marketing a version of Viagra as a way of boosting sexual performance, the drug's maker said it had found a way to treat sexual problems in men.
The company said it would work with Pfizer to develop a way to "improve the effect" it has on men by promoting a version of the drug that can be taken by men, or by men who have erectile problems.
The company also said it would work with Pfizer to develop ways to reduce Viagra sales by 20 percent by 2007.
Viagra is a prescription drug that is available in a generic form, known as sildenafil citrate, or a generic version of Viagra. It is widely prescribed by doctors and other health care professionals because it helps men achieve and maintain an erection.
In recent years, Pfizer has become increasingly worried about its safety issues and said it is cutting off advertising and marketing of Viagra, the generic version of the drug.
It has also been accused of failing to include information about a number of safety issues, including an increased incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment of diabetes, and of other drug side effects, including gastrointestinal issues.
Viagra, which was made available by Eli Lilly and Co., is not approved for use in the United States. It has not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration for use in other countries.
Pfizer is working with the Food and Drug Administration to stop such marketing.

Viagra, sold as Cialis by Eli Lilly in 1998 and as Viagra by Bayer in 2003, is an older form of the drug that is still being studied for use in men. It was approved in 2003, but Viagra has been recalled because of problems it has had with sales of Viagra. Pfizer, the maker of Viagra, has said it will not stop marketing Viagra.
It is unclear if Pfizer is going to stop marketing Viagra to consumers, although there is a small risk that it may have serious medical consequences.

Email: info@med.med.1.Nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate): Cialis and nitrates both lower blood pressure. Taking them together can cause a significant and potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure (hypotension), leading to dizziness, fainting, or even heart attack or stroke. It is contraindicated to use Cialis with nitrates or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrites).
2.Alpha-blockers (e.g., prazosin, terazosin, tamsulosin): Both Cialis and alpha-blockers relax blood vessels, which can lead to excessive blood pressure reduction when used together. This may result in dizziness, fainting, or orthostatic hypotension (a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing). If needed, your doctor may adjust the dosage or recommend spacing the medications.
3.Other antihypertensive drugs (e.g., atenolol, propranolol, enalapril, lisinopril): Cialis can enhance the blood-pressure-lowering effects of these medications. While this interaction is usually less severe than with nitrates or alpha-blockers, it can still cause dizziness or fainting in sensitive individuals. Close monitoring of blood pressure is recommended.
Cialis (tadalafil) can interact with certain foods and beverages, potentially altering its effectiveness or increasing the risk of side effects. Here are the key drug-food interactions to be aware of:
I have never used tadalafil before but I take it daily for 5 days and I am very skeptical as tadalafil does not lower blood pressure. The combination of tadalafil and caffeine is not an issue. My doctor prescribed it because he had no idea what the interaction was and was afraid to change his lifestyle due to the risk of dizziness or fainting. Thanks!
PatientWorthPatient Wen-in-desky_users_ clicks_2I've tried multiple generics and have never had any problems. I've used 10mg and have never had any problems. I'm not sure what the tadalafil dose was but my blood pressure was very very low even after taking it every day. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thank you

The following is a summary of the results of a recent analysis of a large group of studies on the efficacy and safety of tadalafil (Cialis®) in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in patients with symptomatic and/or treatable erectile dysfunction.
Tadalafil: a new form of treatment for men with erectile dysfunction, a condition that affects more than half of men between the ages of 40 and 70 (20%)
Tadalafilis a new form of treatment for men with erectile dysfunction, which is the most common type of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men with an enlarged prostate.
is indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in men with an enlarged prostate, and is not effective in the treatment of symptoms associated with an enlarged prostate and is associated with a risk of urinary tract infection and/or acute urinary retention (UTI).
is also indicated for the treatment of BPH in men with an enlarged prostate, but it has not been adequately studied in the United States (US).
